I don't see Flash dying any time soon. It's still used heavily around the internet, and there aren't any suitable replacements with anywhere near the same popularity.

-Multitasking is for computers, not information appliance. It's a bit of the UNIX spirit, do one thing and do it well.

"Information appliance" is just a nicer term for a shitty computer.

I will suppose that you have a knowledge of how google and basic indexing works and not explain to you why only 26 results came out there.

Only a few results came up because there were only a few results within Google's index.

and because what you put in for gingerbee something kitten what did that have to do with the fact that even apple is pushing it as a tablet or better then. and yes i know how indexing works. my point was that everyone/majority see's this as a tablet pc hence why a google search of the words together brings up what people are looking for the apple ipad tablet pc.

Following a rule one of my /b/ 'tard friend told me once, I'm pretty sure there must be ipad porn as a nice addition to what you googled there my friend. :haha:

Google searches by key word, so it searches for websites that would have those words on a given page. You're search shows results where only one or two of the keywords are on the page, and are completely independent of each other. They have no relation to each other in any form, except for the fact that they are on the same page.

Searching IPad Tablet PC actually brings up results with the phrase Ipad tablet pc, or Ipad tablet computer. Big difference between the two.

But what confuses me the most is how its alright for Steve Jobs to compare it to a computer, saying it can do things no netbook or tablet pc can (which in Steve Job's language means it can't do anything a netbook or tablet PC can), but when anyone else compares it to a computer, they're wrong.

Double standard FTW.

Seeing as the posts I see today are just rehashing what you said yesterday, I can't see this thread going anywhere positive from here. You've all had multiple chances to state and re-state your opinions, none of which have anything to do with the original topic, which was the price of the iPad in Canada.
