Default Laing D4 Pump Anyway to make it more quiet

Well i got a laing D4 pump the MCP650, already attempted to under volt the pump going from 12V to 7V and it still makes an annoying buzzing sound and it vibrates like no other. Anyone got any tips besides replacing the pump with something else because i got it for a good price and its a solid pump but a tad bit loud.

Any help would be great

D4 wasn't all that quiet iirc. One of the things that was so much better about the D5 (part of the reason the D5 HASN'T been replaced for years now is how quiet it is) that made them come out w/ it to replace the D4.
