Default Reasonable price for a 1080ti strix OC?

Hey guys, I'm running into some hard times and was thinking of selling my strix 1080ti. If i were to post it up for sale what would be a reasonable asking price for it? I paid close to 1200 for it new but know its not worth even a thousand now. I see lasser 1080ti's going for around 750-800 but on auction sites between 850-1100. Its a bit confusing.

Thanks for any help.

New 2080's are $1000. You'd be lucky to get $850 for it I think, which is what's being asked for the same card on my local Craigslist. You bought when the prices were inflated due to mining demand.

Keep in mind Ebay keeps 10% of your sale price if you do decide to go that route.

Before the mining craze I bought my 1080Ti Strix OC used for I believe it was $800. Just for reference. That was a good price at the time, but the 1080Tis were King then too.

SugarJ's pretty much on point. You might get a buyer at 850, but probably closer to 800 if you're lucky. A lot of people are going to see that price and think 'Why don't I just spend the extra $100 to get a 2080 that still has warranty and I know wasn't a crypto card'

Old tech just depreciates fast, especially once the next gen is out.
