My System Specs

Default Nvidia 8800 vs radeon HD 2900 (long read)

I found this article compairing an 8800 (gts and gtx) against the new 2900's.

Mind you its written by Nvidia so there bound to be some exageration its still a good read and has some good points and numbers.

enjoy, and leave your feedback on it

My System Specs

I was thinking of utilizing the EVGA 680i in another system (if it works) when I receive the rma'd board back, putting the 8800GTS I'm currnetly using on this P5W DH in that and getting a 2900 for this system..
After reading the article and checking out the price (almost $150.00 more than an EVGA8800GTS and similar results) I am sad to say my expectations have been crushed.
While some people may be diehard AMD/ATI or Intel/NVidea fans, I choose performance and bang for my buck technology over misguided loyalty lol
So unless AMD/ATI can pull a rabbit out of their ass and show me some spectacular numbers NVidea wins again
