Default i7-6700 70c during gameplay, it's bad?


  • Noctua Low-Profile CPU Cooler NH-L9I
  • ASUS Mini ITX DDR4 LGA 1151 B150I PRO GAMING/WIFI/AURA Motherboard
  • Intel Core I7-6700

These temps are bad?.

Little warm. Did you install the cooler yourself? If so, how much paste did you use. Best way to apply paste is use a pea size in the middle of the CPU.

This review has your cooler with the same or worse performance than the stock cooler, so I would say your temps are where they should be.

Noctua Low-Profile CPU Cooler NH-L9I is OK for a non-OC CPU (even an i7). Try a higher fan speed.

Re-seat the cooler and try again
