Default driver

It's probably not the case but try updating your sound card drivers too. I realise the USB mic is a seperate device but maybe MSN is getting confused between your mic on your sound card and mic on cam.

I've actually heard of this proble, and i don't think its the cam/msn itself but the other person's computer. I've had various webcams do this to me on various systems of mine, where the audio and or video would cut out after a certain amount of time. Found out it was the bandwitdh of either myself (wasn't the case) or the other person's. My question to you then is, what is her internet services provider and how much is she paying for, and is anyone else other then your friend's mom on that home network (is it wired/wireless)
Here I am: here I remain
