Just came across this one. Gives an idea how much cloud cover we had in the Niagara region but also how the shadow of the moon 'moves'.

Edit: While the moon is moving, the apparent motion is also from earth rotating. The planet turns approximately 1° of arc in 4 minutes. Which is where we get the one hour time zones of 15°
4 minutes x 15° = 60 minutes/1 hour
24 hours x 15° = 360°

Just standing, we're moving at about 1675 km/h or 465 meters/second (1,040 miles/hour).

Not far from Toronto, not far enough!
A bit of an adventure trying to get to 3 minutes of totality but we did manage to get to just under 2 minutes of totality, traffic was a fucking joke and was expecting %100 cloud cover. It cleared just in time from our vantage southwest of Hamilton.....barely😅
Pushing 50 years wanting to see totality with my own 👀.....done!!!!!
Photo doesn't do it justice.
