Just came across this one. Gives an idea how much cloud cover we had in the Niagara region but also how the shadow of the moon 'moves'.
Edit: While the moon is moving, the apparent motion is also from earth rotating. The planet turns approximately 1° of arc in 4 minutes. Which is where we get the one hour time zones of 15°
4 minutes x 15° = 60 minutes/1 hour
24 hours x 15° = 360°
Just standing, we're moving at about 1675 km/h or 465 meters/second (1,040 miles/hour).
