Default Youtuber getting copyright strikes from Verge

So apparently some of the Youtubers that posted criticism videos against that horrid Verge's How to Build a PC video is receiving copy right strikes from Vox. Kyle got hit and from the comments on Paul's Hardware, some other people got hit as well. Who's running PR for Vox / Verge anyway?

I have been using computers since 1995. The verge video ... um... There was so much criticism. It was just a video out of a billion on youtube. I don't care really. Just a mistake on the young fella. He was trying.

I don't really care about it to begin with, just another funny thing that happened. I also don't disagree with you regarding a young fella trying his hands at something new, we all being there. The issue now is Verge using the copyright strike to silence their critics. Which is kind of ironic as Verge posted a video about the exact same tactic.

The video is what it is but what The Verge is handling it is as moocow said pretty ironic.

Pretty much agree the video Moscow linked to in the OP. The original video had lots of errors/mistakes. All that had to be done was fix/correct/accept it was flawed. The path they have chosen to go is ridiculous.
