Default Nvidia surprise launches the 12GB GeForce Titan X, 'the most advanced GPU ever'

From PC World.

Quote:
Nvidia chief executive Jen-Hsun Huang strolled on stage at a Game Developer Conference presentation from Epic Games, casually announced the new flagship GeForce Titan X graphics card, autographed it, and left.

So that happened.

After spending the better part of two hours launching its Nvidia Shield gaming set-top box/console on Tuesday night, Huang took everyone by surprise when he launched the Titan X on Wednesday morning.

Honestly these names are starting to get confusing.

You got Titan, Titan Z, Titan Black and now Titan X. Can't wait to see the pricing on this bet it's around 3k-4k...

I think the only way people can afford it is by sacrificing virgin blood to please the green lord. Of course depending on the quality of the blood they may ask for more or less.

Hexus has an article alleging the price is going to be $1349 (USD presumably).

Yikes. I'm sure it'll be an awesome card, but yikes.

Wait seriously? I thought when the Titan Z came out it cost around 2k? Then again we don't even know the specs of this besides that 12GB frame buffer....
