I love my Sidewinder X4, perfect gaming keyboard

Mobile_Crysis April 17, 2010 06:15 PM

Hey yah I like what MrDiaz said, I think I like the Sidewinder X4 the best now. It's small, and has everything I need. Backlit keys, good price on Amazon (I'm in the USA) and has anti-ghosting stuff. Thoughts everyone?

MrDiaz April 17, 2010 08:28 PM

Heck yeah man, you can't go wrong with that. 26 antighosting keys (not that u need that many anyway) backlight, profiles, good looking, excellent quality, and new keyboard technology.

G15!!! I absolutely love it. It's going on three years now, and not a single issue.

Mobile_Crysis April 18, 2010 05:19 PM

Well, after viewing all the boards suggested here, I decided that I don't need a G15, I really don't have much use for the LCD, I don't have too much need for the G110's extra macro buttons, and it also is probably too big for my desk. So I ended up buying a Microsoft Sidewinder X4 from Amazon after watching some video reviews. It looks solid and reliable, has all the features I asked for, and is almost normal sized for a keyboard. Thanks for your help everyone!

I just picked up the X6 from canada computers (for $54.99 vs $79.99 MSRP) gonna surprise my brother with a few upgrades when he comes home from vacation. I like the removeable numpad but I dont like the placement of the ESC key. Also the bundled software won't install in Windows 7! lol, when I hit the "check online for solutions" button, it redirects me to the software download page in microsoft.com which has a javascript error in the drop down menu so I can't even get to the software download page. lol. major fail from microsoft. Otherwise it works straight out of the box though, just the macro keys can't be programmed without the software.

The Reclusa didn't look as gay as I thought and they were on sale as well for 45.99, I'll pick that up next week or maybe the X4 from Infonec for 54.99

Good choice! I'm saving up for Steelseries' mechanical keyswitch gaming keyboard but if I weren't, the Sidewinder would definitely be sitting on my desk right now.

Dell has the Sidewinder X4 right now for $45

I'm gonna break the combo here.

Try the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. :haha:
