Default Coffee lake and windows 7

Hello all.
So I m building my new gaming machine, I have everything but the cpu.
Leaning towards the 8700K but availability is an issue, so I haven't ruled out the 8600K yet.
Build specs are Gigabyte Z370 ultra gaming mobo, 2x8 GB ddr4 3000MHz, sata SSD, nvidia 1080 and a G-sync enabled 144Hz monitor.
Its use will only be gaming and surfing, no video/3D editing or the like.

I will be installing and using windows 7 for the time being, so my questions are these:
Will I be missing out on anything for the specific use as there are no Z370 chipset drivers for windows 7?
Does coffeelake offer something different other than what Kabylake did and will not be taken advantage on windows 7?
Will I encouter limitations on my current hardware?

Thank you in advance for any answer.
( please lets not turn this thread in a 7vs10 debate :) )

Big question is... Does the motherboard you want have Windows 7 support? If the answer is no then it won't be a great experience.

Gigabyte, Asus, Ashrock and MSI all have partial support.
All offer audio, sata and USB 3 drivers along with their respective software suites.

None of them offer chipset drivers though as Intel does not support it.
