Default Windows 10, File Explorer needs F5 to refresh

This is not a big deal, just a thing that has been bugging me for a while now and I wondered if anyone else noticed it.

Seems that File Explorer in Windows 10 doesn't update for me automatically, at least not all the time. I am working in a folder, copy and paste some files; nothing. Hit F5 and they appear with the - copy in the file name. Click in the file name, rename the file, file name stays the same. Hit F5, pop! New correct file names appear. I don't remember ever having to do that with Windows before. Always just updated that stuff on the fly in real time.

Like I said, not a huge deal, the changes are occurring it just doesn't always seem to refresh and display them. It can be annoying when you forget (or the first time I discovered) and you end up with 6 copies of the file after incessantly pressing Ctrl+V!

Anyone else having that same experience?

I have noticed as well. Frankly the file explorer has way way worse performance than it does in windows 7. Even just changing drives I find myself waiting for the folder structure to appear. And this is with ssds and hdds.
