My System Specs

I would say with 500 Left,
Get a Asus P5Q MB, E8400/8600 CPU (3.0 or 3.33gHz) and a Decent Cooler (Thermalright 120 , Zalman 9700, Zero Nirvana).

That being said, I am an Intel Fan and have never used AMD so I cannot really say what would be the best upgrade from what you have.

Also, I have no idea what case this is all going into, nor the type/speed of the RAM you currently have.

Otherwise, I might be inclined to suggest a New Case, more RAM etc etc.. instead.

My Two cents,

"We know not why he calls for us, only that when he does we must answer" - DMP 2009

"Dear Iceberg, I am sorry to hear about global warming. Karma is a bitch. Signed - Titanic"

I would rather believe and find god doesn't exist than to not believe and find that he does.

Forget the 3670. Get a 4850 with some of that upgrade money. And maybe get a new phenom II processor.

Geebus dude, The 3670 is actually quite a bit slower than your x1900.
