Samsung laptops - trying to wade through all the model numbers - questions
My wife needs a new laptop and we have a short list that consists of an Asus and some Samsung models. I am having hard time trying to figure out the difference between the Samsung series 5 and Series 7 laptops and the Series 5 model numbers. One of the units that we have on our short list is a Samsung NP550P7C-T03CA. When I went to check it out on the web, I also found that there is a NP550P7C-T05CA and, for the life of me, I cannot figure out what the difference is. There are also 2 other Samsung models that we have considered, the NP770Z7E-S01UB and the NP700G7C-S02US. Again, I cannot find any explanation of what all the numbers and letters mean as far as the different models go. I am hoping that someone out there can help me out of this confusion. Any insight that anyone would care to offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well i can't really tell you the differences between the models, the last 2 numbers are almost always the country that the model is sold in. So the NP550P7C-T03CA is Canadian, and the NP700G7C-S02US is american.

Thanks, that clears up some of the confusion. I did manage to figure out that the first digit of the numeric part, e.g., NP5... and NP7... refers to the Series - Series 5 and Series 7 respectively, now to figure out what the rest of it is all about.
