all three of mine (G0 rev) made it to 3.5 Ghz with little to no effort, and have been flawleles folders. That's one rugged and willing lil chip.

Definitely. I prefer Thermalright tower coolers most of the time, and all three of my lil Q6600's make it to 3.5 with them. 24 folding is no problem with them either. Given these are my first forays outside the AMD camp, I'm quite impressed and satisfied. Blame it on Dan

What did their PPD averages turn out to be at the end?

Hopefully some guys here will chime in with some of their own phenoms to compare with.
I know what its like to have no idea what it should be doing.

_dangtx_ October 26, 2009 10:04 AM

around 1100 1200 but i still think its running in safe mode or something....i mean if your q6600 at a slower speed doubles that....yes inhells do better but not that much better lol

The p2653's generally do 2000 + PPD on my quads.
That's about all I can tell ya at this point. I know
the phenoms don't crank out the points like intels do
right now but I have no idea what the difference normally is.

wait 2000 ppd per quad box or 2x2000 ppd per quad box?? :)

That's 2000+ PPD per work unit when running SMP in winblowz without VMware. That assumes p2653 work units that I see in your screen shot.
Now add the 7000 or so from the GPU to it and va va boom. On a good day like that would be for me, 15k PPD total from just one cheap rig.

lol, as i fingered :D

lets see if machiens rebooted yet...
