Anyone knows if Beta Testers will get rebate / bonus items / anything besides the possible Beta achivments if they don,t wipe it out???

This question has been asked a bzillion times on the d3 forums. No nothing will carry over from beta, not even the beta achievements.

The public beta wasn't really much of a beta. It was more of a demo. Some of the folks at blizz stated that it was merely for stress testing. Most everything was done internally. COnsider your reward for playing in the beta as getting to play the beta. :)

Then I won't feel guilty playing SWTOR while the Beta was going on :haha:

You're being privileged with a beta key while hundreds of thousands of others beg for keys.

Think of how that would go over if beta testers got something more for the retail game. Everybody who didn't get a key would be red faced forum-raging for months.

It made me rage when a bunch of people who don't really like Starcraft at all were given Starcraft 2 beta keys, meanwhile I'd been playing Starcraft 1 for like the last 10 years. Raged so hard.

Haha.

I remember when I upgraded to a faster CD-ROM drive (4x I think?) and P66 with a 28.8 modem. My load times were like 25%!

The Diablo III Installer has been leaked online..

Mayoo March 15, 2012 12:46 PM

The installer is not the problem, you absolutely need a D3 activated BNet account in order to play.

Hmm ok so I found this about Pay 2 play
Quote:

Q: Is Diablo 3 going to have a pay 2 play system?
A: Diablo III will be free to play in the U.S.. There will be no fee through Battle.net to play Diablo III. While the game will be free to play, Blizzard has mentioned the possibilities to have certain functions available for a fee. These functions have not been disclosed yet.

I'm assuming we've read that Diablo 3's official release date is May 15?
