my 2500K with a asrockz77 mb is still working great still can play all games as long as I have my vid card in it. but I am currently using that system for vid sand simple games email with out vid card the only problems so far with this board is the online sound quit and sometimes the od the USB port stops and I have to unplug /plug in what ever is pugged into the usb port. personally in your case if everything else is good and it is like a 2500K or up I would look for a cheap mb save some money unless of course you are a gamer that plays newer games and play them allot.

I kinda want to buy a new desktop this summer/spring but I really need a new laptop because I do everything mobile now. I avoid doing work on my computer because my laptop is getting too slow but I hate sitting in front of a desktop nowadays... feels stuck.

The Ryzen 2 looks damn nice.... I wish I could justify buying one though.... Need to save another 1 grand.
