Just wondering, if I wanted to get some nicer cables, is CableMod the brand to go with? https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produc...9SIADEH5KK3214

White/Black or all white would work for this build I think.

Edit: and there are also the actual made by EVGA ones, those should be pretty safe? https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-Supply-In...3J0JDFTM85Z03V

Edit 2: And Bitfenix Alchemy 2.0 for EVGA Lots of options. https://www.amazon.ca/BitFenix-ALCHE...HE3CM30E2GHVND

I use CableMod myself, but the EVGA and BitFenix ones should be fine too. Likely all from the same factory

OK, I know there isn't a "right" answer here but looking for opinions since colour isn't my strong suit. Given my colour scheme of the black case and rads, chrome fittings and clear blocks, white fans, and clear tubing/fluid, do you think the build would look best with

- all white cables from CableMod: CableMod white

- these carbon one (playing off the chrome fittings?): CableMod carbon

- or black and white: CableMod black/white

Originally I was thinking black/white, but then given the small space and RGB, I thought that might just make the cable a little too busy looking. I think I'm deciding between the white or the carbon really.

Opinions?

How "visible" do you want your cables to be? Carbon will blend into the background easier, white will be at the forefront.

White/Black is probably too much for such a small case, I'll agree with you there.

The answer though is RGB cables: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produc...1W7-007E-00001

Um... no. Just no ;)

I guess that is the question, the visibility. I'll have to decide that since I guess neither will look "better", just different.

Just a note, I likely won't be able to advance this build much in late May, early June. Got some things going on the next few weekends that'll eat up my spare time.

No right answer but definitely wrong answers.

Cablemod used to be the hands down best, but others have stepped it up lately. Bitfenix's first alchemy series were disappointing, too much heat shrink, but the 2.0s are a significant improvment.

Corsair's in house cables are decent now as well. I'd say if prices were equal, go cablemod, but if not, whatever's cheapest.

My thoughts exactly! But you know, RGB is an insidious thing... sneaks in when you're least expecting it but I think I can keep it out of my cables!
