so when people have their temps at 10degrees celcius and 15 degrees celcius their ambient room temp was that low ?

3.0charlie June 5, 2008 01:07 PM

Yes, or they used chilled water.

Dashock June 5, 2008 01:16 PM

3.0charlie June 5, 2008 01:32 PM

Yup, that's it. Some oc'ers use rigged water chillers from school fountains to do just that.

Well i been do a little tweaking now its no where near Prime 95 stable but it did pass 3dmark and most other day to day usage and benchies and just playin crysis at the moment here i almoooost cracked 10000 was soo close i think i can bump it up to 2800ghz again with 10.5

Dashock June 5, 2008 05:21 PM

Alright here are the final pictures i did as much as a good job on wire management as i could i still have to close the back so some wires will be hidden behind but i think it looks a lott better then where i was many weeks ago.

those temp seem fine to me with all those Volt

my opty with a 21C ambient temp is idling @ 28-29C and full load @ 41-42C but im only using 1.28V to get those 2800Mhz

i would worrie about those temp. nice setup BTW

i might get bit by the water bug, but i got to move into the new house 1st

Dashock June 5, 2008 06:45 PM

I had to put it down a bit this chip is not a friendly overclocker i put the speed down to 2.625ghz and its been pretty stable now but im tryin everything i possibly can 10.5 multi and 10 multi if i could get my hands on a 939 chip that was X2 for cheap preferably a Toledo core i might be able to get it up more so i dont know i think this chip has done all it can for me.
