Default Dell XPS 15 (Base Model) - Broken/For Parts/AS-IS/No Warranty

Hello all,

I have in my possession a Dell XPS 15 (Base model - i3 processor) which suffered a motherboard failure. Since the warranty expired, Dell refuses to fix it, so I am listing the parts I have left for sale. Prices are as specified below, but all prices are OBO. Combo discounts apply for buying more than one item. Local is Toronto, pickup location and time is somewhat flexible if I have enough notice. Shipping is available (with tracking) at buyer's expense. Payment through cash, EMT, or Paypal (if you have good feedback).

Terms of sale: All parts are sold AS-IS with No Warranty, and are Untested. The motherboard is the only component listed that is confirmed to be 100% DEAD.

Here are the parts I have left:

- lower case/bottom cover - $50
- 2x4GB DDR4-2400 Hynix SODIMMS - $60
- 56-WHr 3-Cell Battery - $60
- CPU Heatsink - $20
- 2.5" HDD Mounting hardware kit - $20
- Left and Right Fans - $20 for both
- Killer 1535 WiFi/Bluetooth Card - $20
- Broken Motherboard - $150
- Left and Right speakers - $20 for both
- Trackpad - $60
- Top cover/Palmrest - $20
- Full HD Screen w/ complete display assembly including webcam and Wifi antenna - $200

- Take everything listed above for $550 OBO, comes with a baggy of misc screws from the disassembly of the laptop.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking.

I'll approve the post while we try to sort out what's going on with the images. Anybody considering the hardware should request the same images we'd normally require for the site.

Now... what kind of error message are you getting?

"Upload of the file failed"

That's it - tried every single one I took, all of them failed. All of them are 1024x768 .jpeg with small size.

Yep, just confirmed the issue myself.

I'll pass the issue up the line.

Thanks.

In the meantime, I have photos posted on my identical RFD thread, if anyone is interested they can consult those until we get this image issue sorted.

I typically host the images on postimages.org and just link them. Free and easy.
