My System Specs

Unfortunately pricing on mid/high GPUs has been well north of $500 for quite some time. What used to be silly high pricing reserved solely for dual GPU/needs-a-mini-nuclear-plant e-peen kit is now the norm for high(er) end enthusiast cards. I paid something like $500 for my GTX 680, and that was really a stretch. I have a hard time justifying forking out $800 (after shipping and taxes) for something that isn't a flagship card.

I dunno.... between hardware pricing and the scourge of console ports, it's really starting to feel like somebody out there is trying to finally cash in on their short sell position for PC gaming.......
