Gigabyte has been pushing their G1 series “gaming” motherboards for some time now but the Sniper 2 represents their first step away from the aging X58 platform.  Not only is this board more affordable than its predecessor but it also comes with Z68-exclusive features like SSD caching and Virtu GPU switching technology.
