Vertical Vapor Chambers feature less than half the air resistance by reducing airflow vortexes and noise generated by air streaming through a heatsink. At the same time vertical vapor chambers exhibit 3 times the fin contact area, enabling faster and more efficient transfer of heat from the vapor chambers to the fins, and overall more efficient use of the available fin surface area.

As a result, Vertical Vapor Chambers allow Cooler Master to develop cooling solutions with greatly reduced noise footprints or increased cooling performance in excess of 200W at the same or lower noise level as without vertical vapor chambers.

The high-end tower heatsink Cooler Master TPC-812, the first product based on this latest technology and Cooler Masters leading product development process will be officially released to the market in a few weeks during CeBIT 2012.

This series, consisting of 500 W, 600 W and 700 W versions, will be placed between the GX series and the Extreme series and it is targeted at the mid-range to the upper mid-range.

Just like the GX range of Power Supplies, the Cooler Master GX Lite features one powerful +12V rail which provides plenty of power to whatever system is being used; it can easily support a dual VGA card system (both SLI and Crossfire) and has a strong resistance versus overloading. Next to this +12V rail, there are plenty of other features which make the GX Lite series a great choice.

Intelligent fan speed control
The GX Lite power supplies feature a 120 mm silent fan with built-in fan speed control to not only provide the airflow which is necessary to run a system totally cool, but also do this nearly noiseless.

Up to 88% efficiency
The entire Cooler Master GX Lite series reaches an efficiency of up to 88%. This means that the power is decently distributed to each component and not wasted in the form of heat.

Even more features
This series does not only have a high efficiency and built-in fan control, there are many more noteworthy features present in these power supplies. They include dual layer EMI filters to both reduce noise and to protect the connections by reducing the interference. There also is an active PFC/PWM controller included for further increase in efficiency and massive bulk capacitors with a hold up time of less than 17 ms to make sure the PSU can handle peak loads much better. Last but certainly not least is that the GX Lite series offer several protections like OVP and OPP to prevent damage to the system in any way.

Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, power supply, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer, today adds a new sibling to the Silencio Case Series, the Silencio 450.

The Silencio Series represents the best solution for sound absorption with system builds of all levels. Sound silencing foam padding seeks to severely reduce system noises produced by hard drives, numerous cooling fans, and other devices. Combine this with a solid-steel frame, vibration inhibiting rubber feet, two Cooler Master quiet-spinning fans and the Silencio 450 nearly becomes completely silent. Those that value a quiet computing space will immensely appreciate the Silencio Series.

Look beyond the modest exterior of the Silencio 450 to find a clean, intuitive, and spacious interior. Three 5.25”, six 3.5”, and one 2.5” hard drive bay are set inside a solid steel frame. An easily-removable hard drive cage allows users to mix and match various hard drives for maximum flexibility and drive space. Removal of the included hard drive cage opens the door for the possibility of installing high-end graphics cards such as the AMD Radeon HD 6990 or NVIDIA GTX 590. Super Speed, backwards-compatible USB 3.0 and a versatile SD card reader provides users with several ways to connect data on-the-fly. A surprisingly efficient intake-exhaust cooling system throughout the interior provides for maximum airflow. Dust filters protect precious system components from potentially dangerous dust build-up over time. These can be accessed quickly for easy maintenance. Users taking the next step in silent cooling may opt for a custom watercooling setup. The Silencio 450 includes rear retaining holes that support optional water cooling radiator installations. A switchable door hinge creates an added level of convenience as well. A clean exterior design, brimming with features and reasonable price make the Silencio 450 the perfect silent partner for any enthusiast.

The Silencio 450 will be available at online and retail locations worldwide October 2011 for $59.99 MSRP.

Striking a delicate balance between cooling potential and noise, the Hyper 612 PWM outperforms all-in-one liquid coolers and high-priced counterparts alike while maintaining minimal noise levels.

Innovative design and materials
The Hyper 612 PWM CPU Cooler is designed for optimum heat dissipation at low fan speeds thanks to wider fin gaps, a PWM fan with a special fin blade design, and a precise heat pipe layout that directs each of its six heat pipes across CPU “hot zones”. Employing this unique heat pipe layout allows the heat pipes to multiply into twelve virtual heat pipes that cool the hottest parts of the processor.

Easy installation of fans and dual fan design options
Break the bonds that tie you to wire clips and fan screws with the included quick-snap brackets. With these brackets changing, adding, and cleaning fans becomes a simple matter of a few moments to remove and reattach everything. Those with more extreme cooling needs may attach an optional second fan with the extra included quick-snap fan bracket. The Hyper 612 PWM comes equipped with a high performance PWM controlled fan that can be adjusted via BIOS or OS-based motherboard tuning applications. Be it overclocking or stock speeds, PWM enables the included fan to become a versatile cooling option that tailors noise and performance to any need.

The original Cooler Master Cosmos enclosure is still regarded by many enthusiasts and system builders as a thing of unmatched beauty and to this day it has a devout following. In many ways, the Cosmos was a generation or more ahead of its competition and now Cooler Master is on the verge of introducing their newest flagship chassis: the Cosmos II.

Right Interior, Wrong Color

While not much is known about this full-aluminum case other than a few rumors and teaser shots here and there, we’ve been beating the contact bush to see what falls out and some more details have come to light. First of all, it will only be available in black with a black interior unlike the photo above (which was custom painted by SmoothCreations and leaked through unofficial channels) and the price will be fitting of its flagship status: $349 USD. Unfortunately, the release date is under a firm NDA so we can’t quite discuss that but it’s safe to assume it will hit retail well before the Christmas shopping season hits high gear.

The specifications are exactly what one wold expect of an expensive flagship full tower chassis. The Cosmos II features a ton of expansion bays of which some will be removable, USB 3.0 compatibility, support for the largest motherboards currently on the market and will come with a five pre-installed fans. There are also built-in hot swap docks, a 4-channel fan controller, room for a 360mm radiator in the Cosmos II’s upper regions and of course full certification for 4-card SLI and Crossfire.

Below are some additional pictures and we’ll have a review once launch gets a bit closer.

Cooler Master has been known to launch customized renditions of its popular chassis, tailored to promote the colours and designs of specific companies, and today they have announced a new NVIDIA themed HAF X.

Looking somewhat like a giant green skittle, the NVIDIA HAF-X is absolutely no different in design than the original case. It does however, add an interesting flavour of neon green to the plastic exterior accents. An NVIDIA logo at the bottom fan grill, green tinted side glass, and has exchanged the normally red LED fans, for green.

The Cooler Master HAF-X NVIDIA Edition will retail for approximately $229.99 USD.

During the PAX Prime 2010 gaming expo, we happened upon a soon to be released beast, or rather beast cub. Cooler Master’s new price conscious HAF 912 gaming case is set to drop in just over 48 hours and while Hardware Canucks will be having a review primed and ready, we were allowed to snap some exclusive shots of the actual retail product to give you an idea of exactly what to look forward to.

We can’t do any explaining so we’ll have to let the pictures speak for themselves.

In our discussion about the future of the HAF series of cases, Cooler Master’s Product Marketing Manager wasn’t giving anything away, but it was said that consumers should be prepared for “something big coming” from the company just in time for CES 2011.

We’ll definitely be keeping our ear close to the ground for that.

The Inferno, armed with a 4000 DPI twin laser sensor, 128kb of onboard Sentinel-X memory and the brand new Storm Tactics Multiplayer key will evoke your killer instinct.

Gaming-grade Precision

Accuracy in movement is just as important in an MMO as it is in a FPS game and that’s why the Inferno is equipped with a 4000 DPI twin laser sensor with a custom laser engine. This also means that the Inferno is excellent for playing a wide variety of other games and not just MMO’s. You do of course have full control over the DPI setting and you can store up to three custom game profiles thanks to 128kb of onboard Sentinel-X memory. The profiles can retain macros, scripts and just about any other customization you can come up with and it’s as simple as pressing a button to switch between your profiles.

Advanced Storm MacroPro, Rapid Fire Tactical and Storm Tactics Multiplier keys

The Advanced Storm MacroPro key enables quick and easy set up to your macros, scripts and mouse actions. The Rapid Fire Tactical key is ideal for getting out of tight corners when you need to lay down a lot of fire power quickly.

As it’s located just next to the left mouse button, it’s also easy to get to and you don’t have to figure out which key it is. Finally the Storm Tactics Multiplier key gives you access to 32 extra button outputs for macros, scripts, rapid fire and other unique commands.

It’s all in the design

The CM Storm Inferno was designed from the ground up to be a gaming mouse with MMOs in mind. With no less than 11 buttons, nine of which are programmable, you have access to everything you need just a simple click away. In addition, with a lift-off distance of 2mm, 1000Hz polling, 1ms response time and a max speed of 115 inches per second and you have a well rounded gaming mouse. The Inferno has also been ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of time. The CM Storm Inferno is built for winners, no matter the game.

The much anticipated HAF X debuts as the most powerful HAF (High Air Flow) chassis yet. Designed for performance systems, this chassis is able to house today’s latest and hottest CPUs, motherboards, graphics cards and is even compatible with USB 3.0 devices. With specialized support and cooling for graphic cards, massive airflow with the help of up to four gigantic fans and easy access to installed components, this is as close as it gets to a system builder’s ‘dream case’.

Extreme Airflow: Simply Cooler
HAF X provides powerful airflow with the help of massive-sized fans: dual 200mm top fans, front 230mm red LED on/off fan provide outstanding system cooling and extreme airflow for the entire system. An additional 200mm fan with dedicated air duct has also been added for unsurpassed VGA cooling.

Effortless Installation & Management: Simply Better
A unique feature of the HAF X is that users can easily swap hard drives with the new SATA dock without the need of removing the side panel. Other notable mentions include tool-free design, refined cable management system (including a power cable cover), safety on/off button cover and a bottom-mount power supply.

Upgradeability
Expansion for tomorrow’s most demanding graphic cards is not a problem with the nine expansion slots, spacious interior for extra long boards (i.e. ATI Radeon HD 5970) and even an adjustable VGA card holder for added sturdiness.

While they have kept the important features that made the original Centurion wildly popular, the Centurion 5 II has a host of improvements to keep up with the latest hardware components available today; including the latest 1.8” or 2.5” SSD drive adapter. This also includes better heat dissipation, easier to install and maintain features and cable management.

Superior Airflow Performance

The much improved airflow design now includes a larger 140mm blue LED fan with on/off switch and a a dual-fan side vent to quickly insert cool air, while unwanted heat is removed from the top and back vents, This adds up to the option of having five fans in total.

User-Friendly Design

The Centurion 5 II has a new removable 5.25” front I/O module for you to freely position it where you choose. It also includes trademark designs such as tool-free 5.25” and 3.5” installation drive bays, CPU cooler retaining hole and a bottom-mount PSU filter at interior to prevent dust build-up.

Cable Management System

Cable access retaining holes have been added to secure cables from routing cables in and out. This smart design of cable management also prevents the cables and components from being damaged.

Pricing and availability has not yet been announced.

USP 100 is a fully featured performance solution without the high-end price tag.

Wide Body Design
USP 100 offers a no compromise interior including many popular innovations from Cooler Master high end chassis. The wide body design includes over 11 inches for VGA card length and over 6.5 inches in CPU cooler clearance height for class leading support of the mainstream CPU coolers and graphics cards. A chassis width of over 8.4 inches makes cable management easy, allowing system cables to be hidden in spacious .5 inch clearance behind the motherboard tray. USP 100 includes a CPU retention hole for easy CPU cooler installation, hassle free tool-free drive bays, and an easy to clean front filter air intake.

Powered by 550W Extreme Power Plus

Answering increasing requests for more value, USP 100 combines a spacious, high airflow chassis with a quality 550W power supply. The Extreme Power Plus 550W has been field tested for both durability and performance with major graphics cards and CPUs. The combination of a power supply and chassis provides a stable, all-in-one solution perfect for mainstream system building. The USP 100 is exclusively available as a complete chassis and power supply solution.

Air Cooling Aesthetics

Taking cues from enthusiasts, the USP 100 is factory painted in crimson. Using proven all mesh front panel design, the USP 100 provides enhanced airflow to keep internal temperatures minimal. Front air filters increase dust management while reducing system maintenance. A hidden power button, red themed LED front fan, and crimson LEDs add a bold and edgy flair to any system.

USP 100 Availability

The USP 100 will be available Q1 2010 in North America, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. USP 100 with Extreme Power Plus 550W power supply will be available at a suggested market price of $99 USD. Other markets availability and pricing may be different.

Now the case has been revamped and looks forward to its public debut come January 2010 at CES.

The CM 690 II Advanced showed up on our forum’s courtesy of a not so cleverly disguised Cooler Master rep. who has given us a sneak peak of both the CM 690 II and Advanced version of chassis. They incorporate much of the same style as the first gen. but according to the Cooler Master representative, the cases feature ”brand new bodies that aren’t based on the CM 690 or any other extant chassis”. While the exterior is similar in size, the interior has been expanded to allow for better cable management and more “innovative features”.

The case will be shown off at CES 2010, but for now, Cooler Master has hosted a teaser site with a countdown clock until release, and posted a few taunting photos of the exterior.
