A Farewell to ARMs: Texas Instruments Apparently Selling OMAP Division.

Tech news website Semi Accurate is reporting that Texas Instruments (TI) is planning on selling off their ARM/OMAP division. TI has not formally announced the deal, nor has the name of a buyer been released. Texas Instruments Launches new ARM Chip at Computex

Processor manufacturer Texas Instruments (TI) today announced at Computex an update to it’s ARM based line of OMAP 4 chips, the OMAP 4470.
