We have already looked at some very interesting Edifier speaker sets and this time we are looking at a more futuristic 2.1 system. Considering it comes from a long line of great-sounding systems, we have high expectations for this E1100 setup.

Many companies promise "virtual" surround sound from a one-speaker system yet hardly any of them deliver. Binaura released their B102AB system quite a while ago but it still seems to represent a great value for your money. Hopefully it can perform better than its competitors....

This review will be examining one of Edifier's flag ship products, the Edifier S5.1 Super theater system. This system is in a 5.1 configuration but has the option to be upgraded to 6.1 with addition of a rear center channe speakerl. This system is compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS using analog cables and with the optional rear center expandable to Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES.
