Extreme Makeover: Website Edition

No, we weren’t the unwitting recipient of a Ty Pennington knockoff series (much to the dismay of those who had to code it) , but you are in fact looking at the new face of the Hardware Canucks homepage. We have made some enormous changes in the past few years and our re-designed website is just a part of the process to give our visitors and community, a place to read about and involve themselves with the tech world.

em webedition Welcome to the New Hardware Canucks!

One of the major features we wanted to incorporate was a way for visitors to get all the headlines from not just our news and reviews, but everything that is happening around the web from product releases from manufacturers to announcements from developers and business and critical headlines that matter to you. We have also added quick and easy announcements regarding other portions of our website, such as our Performance Charts, Store and TechWiki, as well as making space for other upcoming features.

We wanted to keep the layout clean, simple and easy to navigate without having to leap into the far recesses of the site to get information. Hopefully our aim was accomplished and we encourage you to take some time and familiarize yourself with the new layout.

We will be updating the Tech Headlines on a daily basis with original articles as well as press releases and news from around the web. We will also be featuring regular updates to the Review Roundup about reviews we weren’t able to cover. If you feel inclined to start a discussion about a news story, or reply to one already posted, you may do so anonymously if you are not a member of our forum, otherwise be sure to log in to the forum first to accurately identify yourself.

For your convenience there are also two separate RSS feeds for both Reviews and News to keep you updated on the go.

We also encourage you to report any bugs or comments through our Bug/Comments forum thread here, otherwise email them off to comments@hardwarecanucks.com

Enjoy!

    Hey Pierre!
For News Stories you can use the “+Share” feature by the title, to print and email news stories. We should hopefully be porting this over to the reviews section shortly :)
