The 500W unit is not bad considering it comes in a $140 Case. But I think I would grab a Antec Sonata III instead. Hopefully you'll get one for review soon!

SKYMTL,

Well what to say but great work!
You definately got what it takes to make great reviews. And I think that you "had" to clear things up reference the ULTRA brand. I mean, every time you venture in the "jungle" looking for the "feline", you bump into those Ultras...So lots of potential buyers.

I seen some of your reviews being refered to from quite a few sites now, seems like a lot of people appreciate.

IMHO, what people need to know is covered by your work. Too bad you don't have access to everything on the market (you probably have to convince the manufacturers to send the PSUs to you first...).

But your work is needed big time! With OCing and all those nice high end graphics cards around, lots of people have to realize that they "have to" fork the cash to buy a decent and powerfull enough PSU...

The $140 for the Ultra case and the V-Series 500W is a pretty good deal.

I viewed the v-series power supply roundup with interest but... I'm looking to buy a case/psu combo and the ultra grid case with its X-Connect V-Series ( XVS) / 700-Watt psu has me very interested, I wish someone could tell me how good that power supply is.

Yeah, I actually really like the Ultra Grid Case, as a unit by itself. It's well built, the tooless drive bays are foolproof, and it's decently cooled and quiet.

Also, my 800W X-infinity is rock solid! Powers my super hungry rig no problems!

Another great review ... Your PSU reviews are what led me to this forum, FYI :)
