Hardware news website CPU World has managed to get their hands on leaked details about Intel’s new upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU desktop lineup.

Citing sources in China, the site says that there will be “3 mainstream, 2 unlocked, three mid-power and three low-power models” in Intel’s Ivy Bridge lineup. The chips will share similar fundamentals as they will still have 4 CPU cores with Hyper-Threading support, 8 MB level 3 cache, and Turbo Boost technology. i7 The fastest chip will be the 3770K, fully unlocked with a 3.5GHz clock speed.

Rumor has it that the projected launch date for these chips is April 2012.
