AMD in an interesting announcement today is slated to receive over the next Five years 56.4million dollars from the Canadian Government.

Under Ontario’s ‘Next Generation Job Fund’ AMD Canada will receive this grant to push forward in their Markham facility to facilitate and engineer AMD’s next generation Fusion. In turn as part of AMD’s commitment to this location they will continually invest and create new jobs in the R&D and technology industry. Really giving both parties a win-win situation.
