AMD3 300x175 Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition Set For March ReleaseAMD has been wasting no time in the the graphics department. With a launch date of March the 11th we can Expect to see the HD 5870 Evefinity on store shelves soon.



Based upon a Reference 5870 the Eyefinity6 edition comes equipped for the latest in connectivity and multi-monitor support.  Using the included hardware (dongles) and the six Display Ports on the rear of the card , one can connect up to six displays running independently in Full HD. Alternatively one can also merge them to form one or more Eyefinity Display heads as well.


Clocks come in the same as a Reference 5870 as well, 850/1200 MHz (Core and Memory respectively) all tied into 2GB of onboard GDDR5 Memory. For those who require such a setup, or have long awaited a Card that can accomplish these tasks; the wait will soon be over.
