NVIDIA has had the Internet in a frenzy over the weekend, announcing it had big news for this morning; the anticipation is over, and the company has officially released the information we have been dying to hear since last year.
Are You Ready to Wait! The companies facebook status updated its followers with this:
The wait is almost over! The world’s most anticipated–and fastest–PC graphics gaming technology ever created will be unveiled at PAX 2010. Visit

compete to win a free trip to Boston!
As suspected the big news is regarding nVidia’s new GPU lineup, however information supplied is devoid of any detail. The announcement claims the GTX 400 series cards will be unveiled at PAX East 2010, which happens March 26th, 2010.
For those attending the event, NVIDIA is promising to at least have some demo samples of this “graphics technology available to test drive, and even teases with a line saying that attendees may even be able to buy one before anyone else; at least pricing information will be available by this time.
Question! So what are your thoughts on this “big” announcement? It is definitely a disappointment to all the eager fans awaiting for the tiniest of morsel of GTX 400 series info, but was it entirely unexpected that NVIDIA is keeping their cards close to their chest… and trying to buy more time?
