NVIDIA has launched a new driver specifically for the 197.55 GTX 400 series of video cards. Unfortunately there really isn’t much to them.

The only changes listed in the notes is:

• This is a WHQL-certified driver update for 4-way SLI with GeForce GTX 480 or GeForce GTX 470 GPUs.

Those not intending to run 4-Way SLI likely won’t need to update. Why NVIDIA didn’t merely release this update as a patch or hotfix though is somewhat puzzling.
