Mushkin ati video card 300x186 Mushkin Looks to Produce ATI Graphics CardsA few weeks ago, word hit the wire that Mushkin was prepping to release NVIDIA based graphics cards. Well as it turns out, the company plans to dip into both ends of the pool and appears to be scheduling to also debut ATI based GPUs.

While full details are not available, the company did allude to the ATI release when they launched the NVIDIA UltimateFX lineup. The first on their list for ATI appears to be the ever popular mainstream HD 4850. It is said to be coming in two variants; a  stock 625MHZ core & 993 MHz memory, along with an overclocked version at 700MHz core and 1100 MHz memory. As seen in the image, a 92MM Arctic Cooling L2 Pro  cooler will give the card it’s uniqueness, and it also features VGA, DVI and HDMI ports for a full range of connections; ATI reference cards typically only have dual DVI.

No word yet on when or where the cards will be released. Mushkin’s North American website does not feature a video card section and the company has notoriously be known to release some of their non memory products into only the European markets.
