A common complaint heard by ATI card owners over the past month has been the abnormally slow map load times in Bad Company 2.

Fortunately, the source of the problem has stepped up and resolved the issue, releasing beta Catalyst 10.4 drivers which include a hotfix to normalize load times, but it is not all good news.  Currently the update only supports the Radeon HD 5xxx series; 4xxx and earlier owners will be forced to wait until an unspecified date when ATI includes them as well.

ATI hopes to have all products fixed with the WHQL release of the drivers later this month.
