G.Skill’s Phoenix SSD series utilizes the SandForce SF-12xx series controller, which has been touted to revolutionize SSD read/write performance and stability.


You have to really squint to make out the numbers, but these preliminary benchmark tests show speeds of  191MB/s read and 166MB/s write in HDTune and 201MB/s, 141MB/s sequential in Crystal Mark.


The drives will be available on the market in the near future with capacties of 50GB, 100GB, 200GB and 500GB.
