Crucial is finally shipping its C300 RealSSD that boasts incredible speeds with its SATA 6 Gbps interface.

The drives announced earlier this year feature a Marvell controller and MLC (multi-level cell) NAND memory preforming at a blistering 335MB/s read and 215MB/s write speeds.

Both  128GB and 256GB models are available at the “bargain” price of $500 and $800 respectively.

These super drives are not unheard of however, with OCZ’s Vertex LE drive’s offering less space, slightly slower speeds (270mb/s read, 235mb/s write) on SATA II for over $900.
