Corsair Nova Reactor SSDs 01 300x288 Corsair Launching Nova and Reactor SSD LineupCorsair is looking to expand their already well regarded SSD lineup, and in a bit of a turn from the usual, have given the new lineup some catchy names; welcome the Nova and Reactor series.


The Nova line introduces two new SSD’s in 64GB and 128GB capacities, while the Reactor features 60GB & 120GB units; both utilize MLC (multi-level cell) NAND memory and operate via a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface.


The Nova lineup has a 64MB cache and touts speeds of 215MB/s max read, along with 130MB/s or 195MB/s write speeds for the 64GB and 128GB models respectively.


The Reactor doubles the cache to 128MB with read speeds of 250MB/s and writes at 110MB/s or 170MB/s for the 60GB and 120GB sizes respectively.  The Reactor series also includes a mini USB connection directly on the drive.


Listed prices in Europe were spotted with the Nova at  £154 for the 64GB , £292 for the 128GB , while Reactor prices are £146 for 60GB and  £292 for 120GB.


An official launch date has not yet been announced and no word yet on a North American release.
