Samsung has announced the launch of two new high contrast Syncmaster displays, designed for the best colour reproduction.
The SyncMaster 80 Series F2380MX targets the casual user while the SyncMaster 70 Series F2370H is intended for professionals.
The panels are 23-inch widescreens, with a resolution of 1920×1080 and the big feature is a dynamic contrast ratio of 150:000:1 and static of 3000:1. The displays also boast a viewing angle of 178° degrees both horizontal and vertical, response times of along with support for 100 percent web-standard sRGB color reproduction. The monitor accepts HDMI, includes two 3W speakers and has TCO 5.0 certification.
With Samsung’s focus on true colour reproduction the monitor will be based on Samsung’s new cPVA panel.
The F2370H will debut first in Korea at 397,000 Won (US$353) and the F2380MX for 417,000 Won (US$371)
The monitor is shown on Samsung’s Korean website, but not yet listed on any English sections.
