EVGA is the standard in today’s industry; from award winning graphics cards to feature rich motherboards. It is only natural to see them continue on in this evolution of product design with something new and innovative.

Far from the internal workings of a modern PC sits the lone display panel, a component that none of us can do without. EVGA’s first venture into this hard fought section is not with the enthusiast in mind but rather aimed at the  professional market.

Que the “Interview 1700″. Front and centre, the first thing you will notice is the paired displays. Both panels measure 17″ across and are identical in design. Supporting a native resolution of 1440 x 900 these LCDs sits in the median, being neither the best nor worst out there. Response time is 8ms while the static contrast ratio is rated at 500:1.

What sets the InterView apart from the regulars is the movement of the actual panels themselves. Capable of 180 degree rotation and swivel one can manipulate both to achieve their own personal display configuration as seen in the picture below.

Also featured is a 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera mounted flush into the frame. Standard connectivity is provided via DVI/HDMI inputs.
Although built for the professional one can imagine a few of these will find their ways into the homes of enthusiasts and the likes. Especially considering that using two standard displays takes up a lot more desktop real estate.

Currently the InterView 1700 is priced at $650USD, and at this time availability is not yet known.
