As rumors leading up to Apple’s World Wide Developer’s Conference suggested, NVIDIA is back in Mac with the launch of the refreshed Macbook Pro.
The refreshed Macbook Pro, which begins shipping today, comes with either a 2.3 or 2.6-GHz quad-core Ivy Bridge Intel Core i7 (with Turbo Boost up to 3.7-GHz), up to 16GB of memory, 768GB of flash storage, and a GeForce GT 650M.
The inclusion of a Kepler GPU means that NVIDIA’s 28nm supply chain is stable.
This new Macbook Pro features a 2880×1800 Retina Display, which Apple claims is the highest resolution offered on any notebook to date.
The new Macbook Pro is available today, and retails for $1,799 or $2,199 depending on options selected.
