The phone largely has the same specs as the Lumia 920, save for the display and the camera. Nokia says the 925 will be powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 2,000 mAh battery and 16GB of storage (the Lumina 920 has 32GB).
Where the 925 differentiates itself from other phones in the Lumia sweet is the display and camera. The 925 has a 4.5-inch OLED display that pushes out pixels at 1280 x 768. It has a 8.7MP main camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera.
Compared to other models Nokia is offering, the phone is impressively sleek. It weighs in at 139 grams, and is 8.55 mm thick. Its internals are encased in a slick polycarbonate silver exterior.
Nokia says the 925 will support wireless charging, but only with a after-market cover that attaches to the back.
While the phone is launching on June 25 in a number of worldwide markets, there is no word yet on a Canadian release date.
