Mushkin Announces New Blackline Series DDR3 MemoryLooking to stake their claim firmly in the DDR3 market, Mushkin announces a new series of their acclaimed Blackline Memory.

With Ultra low CL7 performance these kits look to compliment the newest processors to date on the market. Namely Intel’s Core i7 and Core i5 series CPU’s.

Below is a table that shows what kits will be available soon to consumers. As well these new kits promise good overclocking potential without sacrifice to timings as is normally the case with memory.

- 996801 – 4GB (2×2) PC3 – 16000 9 – 11 – 9 – 27 1.65v

- 996798 – 8GB (2×4) PC3 – 12800 7 – 9 – 8 – 24 1.65V

- 998798 – 12GB (3×4) PC3 – 12800 7 – 9 – 8 -24 1.65v

From the looks of these kits it is clear that Mushkin as well is moving into the really high density modules with two of the three kits offered having single 4GB modules. Availability and pricing has yet to be announced at the time of this posting.
