In the race towards faster memory performance and higher bandwidths, G.Skill’s Trident X is leading the pack with a new 32GB kit (4x8GB) which runs at 2800MHz.
With prices of DDR3 stabilizing at almost historically low levels, higher capacity memory kits are increasingly becoming more common in gaming-grade systems. As a result, we’ve seen 8GB kits quickly make way for 16GB and 32GB layouts while even 64GB products will soon be flooding the market as DDR4 compatibility rolls out.
G.Skill’s has continually made headlines with their memory products and this new Trident X is no different. While the Trident X brand has been around for some time now, the 32GB kit remained at 2666MHz. Now, with the advent of higher capacity modules which can consistently clock to 2800MHz, G.Skill is stepping this up with this new kit.
The rated latency is 11-13-13-35 @ 1.65v, one-upping every other 32GB kit currently available and we’re sure enterprising overclockers will lower those levels in no time. Pricing isn’t available yet but expect the Trident X 32GB 2800MHz kit to easily reach above the $300 mark.
G.SKILL – world renowned for producing memory modules at extreme speeds, has once again proven as “a brand to be reckoned with” in the DDR3 memory sector by announcing the world’s fastest DDR3 32GB Memory kit, adding 32GB kit to the world’s dominating DDR3 Series – G.SKILL “Trident X”. The new Trident X 32GB kit – F3-2800C11Q-32GTXD features 4 sticks of 8GB memory modules, which will fit perfectly on Z77 chipset & IVY Bridge CPU, and it’s also the one and only 32GB Memory kit running @ 2800MHz CL11 in the market today.
Being the first to introduce such large capacity memory kit running at an incredible speed of 2800MHz, G.SKILL continues to impress power users/professional overclockers by offering the best memory solution with highest quality.
