Logitech’s new Easy-Switch technology can go from being synchronized with your Mac to your iPad to your iPhone – all with the press of a button.

Two new Mac-centric products were announced by Logitech this week, the first being a Mac version of their K810 Bluetooth Keyboard, the Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard.  The second product is a larger, portable, rechargeable version of a notebook’s trackpad, the Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac.

Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard

The new Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch keyboard features technology similar to that already seen in the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810.  It can pair with up to three apple devices at once, and has the typical Mac keyboard layout, including the Command key, brightness, and Mission Control.  It has a design and colour scheme that matches the Apple style, so it blends right in with any Apple products.  It also features an excellent backlight – not only does it illuminate well enough to clearly read the keyboard in even the darkest scenarios, but it features an automated sensor that activates the backlight when your hads approach the keys, and dims or brightens based on the amount of light in the room.

Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac

Logitech also announced the Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Apple products.  It features multi-touch control allowing the full set of multi-touch gestures on Mac OS, and the touch area is larger than the trackpad on most notebooks making multi-touch control easier.  It has also been engineered to be more precise than a typical trackpad, and is resistant to fingerprints and scratches.  The rechargeable nature eliminates all battery hassles – the trackpad is charged through a USB cable, and can be charged while in use.  It has a convenient on/off switch and a battery life of about one month, and the Bluetooth wireless range is about 30 feet.
