Without a doubt the EVGA GTX 680 Classified is an impressive card – a piece of engineering art. Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido, however, felt the need to push this card up a notch – and push he did – by overclocking the card’s GPU to an impressive 2GHz.
Pushing the card’s GPU over 2GHz made for an impressive 3D Mark 11 score of 16472.
For the record shattering benchmark Mr. Lucido used an EVGA’s X79 Classified motherboard, an Intel Core i7-3960X Sandy Bridge-E CPU clocked 5538.75MHz, 16GB of G.Skill DDR3-2400 RAM, and and an EVGA NEX 1500W PSU to power the rig.
And, of course, plenty of liquid nitrogen.
This is certainly an impressive feat for EVGA!
