Valve announced late yesterday at Gamescon 2010, the official release date for Portal 2.

Feburary 9th, 2011 is the day to note for the return of GLaDOS and the rest of the Aperture Science gang. It is expected that the game will be available at this time on all platforms including the newly added PS3.

During the announcement they also revealed some of the talent that went into the game, including The Office co-writer and comedian, Stephen Merchant, as the voice of the Wheatley  (aka Buddy Sphere). Watching the Gameplay demo, you can already tell, this companion is going to be quite a riot.

Mark the day on your calendars, or given that it is a Valve release, mark the day and the next 3 following it; you’re bound to get one right.
