G.SKILL just dropped a note in the HWC mailbox letting us know that they are showing off a machine at Computex that has a whopping 96GB of system memory.

Of course this memory is the latest and greatest G.SKILL has to offer on a top-tier motherboard: 96GB of RipjawsZ DDR3 1600MHz running nicely on a EVGA SR-X board.

G.SKILL is also displaying the fastest model of G.SKILL’s TridentX memory which achieved the amazing speed over DDR3 3000MHz CL11 16GB (4GBx4) on both ASUS Z77 MAXIMUS V FORMULA and GIGABYTE Z77A-UD5 motherboards.

    Yeah… Server motherboard, 2 CPU and 12 ram slots.
    
What exactly is special about this? We already had 8GB rams. Other than the ram speed of 3000MHz, nothing too special about it. There’s no point trying to improve the speed of DDR3, when DDR4 is just around the corner.

    I would like to get four sticks of it to test it out in my rig…. Just to see the differance it would make and see if the power is really there. I am just saying if it would improve my system any over what I have already I would give g-skill props.
