Dell released today a refresh to its best selling XPS 13 notebook that includes a 1080p ‘full HD’ display.
This new display will offer a 1920 x 1080, up from the 1366 x 768 found on the current model.
Dell says that the enhanced screen will also offer an increased colour gamet; 72% color gamut versus the 45% color gamut on the standard panel. This enhanced screen will be brighter and offer a wider viewing angle.
“More pixels also means you’ll have more screen real estate, so you will see more of that spreadsheet or that you’ll be able to see more detail in a high resolution image than you would compared to a typical notebook screen,” blogs Dell’s Lionel Menchaca.
With an i5 processor, the XPS 13 will retail for $1,399, and with an i7 processor the notebook will retail for $1,599.
