nvidia logo4 300x233 NVIDIA Releases Their Own SLI PatchWith EVGA receiving all the praise over their SLI Enchancement Patch, it would appear NVIDIA has gotten a bit jealous of the attention and decided to provide a fix for their own products (fancy that huh)

The patch is compatible with any SLI motherboard, and is non vendor specific. It is suggested to be used in conjunction with the latest video drivers 186.18

Patch 1.0 is intended to improve performance with SLI systems and adds support for Anno 1404 (Dawn of Discovery) and ARMA II. The single patch file is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and works in both 32/64 bit flavours.

You know that say alot to EVGA’s commitment to their customers. Personally I hope this trend continues and we see more vendors jump on this. Its one thing to purchase a product from them, yet have to rely on the manufacturers to produce drivers I think with them both working together to provide better performance it can only improve the industry and make for better performing products.

Absolutely EE. This is just the beginning. I am absolutely happy that I bought EVGA this time around because of the constant, excellent support for their products. I will continue this until more manufacturers just on this wagon too. Variety is always a good thing.

Now that I think about it, nVidia the spoiled only child from the divorced family always wanting to be the centre of attention. Cleary won’t work with its vendors rather try to take the spotlight away as we’ve seen here. Pardon me as I pop my “in a perfect world bubble” finally realizing what I said before was completely ridiculous.

Still chalk one up for EVGA, a solid brand and choice for nVidia videocards.
