big bang xpower 300x285 MSI Big Bang XPower X58 Board PicturedWith Intel working its way towards Hexa-Core Processors it is not uncommon to see some manufacturers showing off the future boards that will support these chips.

Pictured here is the MSI Big Bang XPower that will be build on Intel’s Latest X58 Chipset.

As always with early non-production models, details are a bit sketchy.  It will be running the X58 Chipset and from a glance an all encompassing 6 PCI-e 16 Lanes. Although speeds when populated are unknown it should give anyone who loves multiple GPU’s goosebumps.

USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/s will of course be standard as well as MSI’s amazing DrMOS power delivery system. Speaking of, this board will feature a 16 phase setup for power delivery as well as requirements for two 8-Pin EPS Connectors.

One can expect to pay a hefty premium for such a setup, however for some this board may just be what they are looking for in the future.
